            Dawoodi-Bohras is a Shia-sect in Islam and world over the  total population is about 16 lacks, out of it 12 lacks living in India. The Bohras were migrated in 15^th century from Yemen in search of business to India. Therefore they 1^st landed in Gujarat that is why Bohras mostly are Gujrati speaking and now in the western countries like England and America they have migrated from India. The Dawoodi-Bohras of Sagar (M.P.) were migrated during the 18^th century from Sironj a small town which was belonged to Tonk Riyasat of Rajasthan, but now a Tehsil place of Vidisha (M.P.). The population of Bohras in Sagar is only 27 families, most of them are having there own business mainly hardware, paints, shoes and general stores. There are about 15 graduates, 5 post graduates, 1 Ph.D. and 1 M.B.B.S. Out of which only two are working as government officers,  an Eye Specialist and a Reader in University. Rest are having their own business.
